It encourages kids to develop kindness, empathy, and respect for animals and the environment, while learning that no matter how big or small, everyone has their role in the balance of nature.
Deep in the forest, King Grouchel spends his time napping peacefully while his crocodile chef Krockel dreams of stardom. On a fateful rainy night, frogs croak endlessly — disturbing King Grouchel’s precious sleep. The wicked duo plan the unthinkable… A forest free of those pesky creatures! But as chaos unfolds, the king and his chef are about to painfully discover that: No matter how small, every creature matters.

Review
"Not only a great self-worth message but also an ecological message as well."
The Good For Nothing Frogs by Daniel Georges has a fun creepy feel to it. The castle setting and quirky illustrations will delight kids and keep them glued to the story. Librarians, teachers, and parents will enjoy reading this aloud because of all the great sound effects from snoring to ribbiting. I loved the way that Georges has tied in not only a great self-worth message but also an ecological message as well. We are all good for something even if other people do not recognize it. That includes not only people but all creatures too! Thank goodness for frogs who love to eat bugs like mosquitoes. The Good For Nothing Frogs shares this message in a way kids will remember and enjoy"
