"...the importance of thinking before speaking."
Daniel Georges handles the concept of 'secret' wonderfully, making it interesting to young readers. In addition, he teaches them the importance of thinking before speaking. The illustrations are adorable and colorful making the concept palpable. The topic is fresh and original. A great story for read aloud sessions in classrooms and bedtime storytelling. The story is simple but satisfies the curiosity of children when it comes to grasping the concept of a secret, and Maya makes it easy for them to understand it perfectly.
