TANIA SOSSI, MEd, LPC, CPP, is a Colorado-based licensed therapist, educator, certified school-based mental health provider, and child welfare leader. For more than two decades, she has supported children and families affected by trauma, dependency-and-neglect proceedings, family separation, and permanency transitions. As former president and CEO of Griffith Centers, she developed the Relinquishment Framework, a structured approach designed to help professionals support children, birth parents, and permanent caregivers during removal and potential termination of parental rights. Sossi has collaborated extensively with county treatment teams and has served as an expert witness in involuntary termination proceedings. Her clinical and courtroom experience informs her commitment to family preservation whenever safety permits and to compassionate, developmentally appropriate care when children and families face separation.
