"The story stresses on how important it is to be confident more than being pretty..."
I Won't Cut My Hair! (My Crazy Stories Series) by Daniel Georges is adorable and I love the portrayal of Sally's character. Children can be stubborn while growing up and that makes Sally a real and relatable child. The story stresses on how important it is to be confident more than being pretty and that shows clearly in how Sally's long hair ends up being a nightmare instead of making her look beautiful. The illustrations by the author are vivid and wonderful with the color purple running cohesively through the entire story. Children will enjoy reading this book and many of them will surely relate to Sally. The entire MY CRAZY STORIES series is good to have in a personal collection as well as great to be read aloud in classroom storytelling sessions.
