Jessika lives in the Los Angeles area with her British husband, two adult-sized children, and rescue bulldog. She is a native Floridian with degrees in creative writing, international studies: intelligence and foreign policy, and German. Her slight obsessions are with history, literature, and spooky stuff. She is the author of the Another Beast’s Skin, dark romantic fantasy series, Stars Like Gasoline, and BloodLily. Her short stories have appeared in anthologies and on flash fiction sites. When not writing, Jessika can be found (or not) traveling, running, and making other forms of art.
