David Barrios Martínez, MD, is a sexologist and a surgeon from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), a Teaching specialist from Centro de Investigaciones y Servicios Educativos (UNAM), an educator on Sexuality from Sociedad Mexicana de Sexología Humanista Integral (Someshi), a Gestalt and person-centred psychotherapist from Instituto Humanista de Psicoterapia Gestalt, and a master in Sexology from Universidad Abierta y a Distancia de México. Currently, he is the headmaster of Centro Integral de Sexualidad y Educación Sexual (CISES). David is the author of Senderos del erotismo (2022) and En las alas del placer (2022), as well as co-author of Pleasures and Partners (2022), published by Editorial Terracota under their Pax imprint.

Verónica Ortiz Lawrenz is a Mexican writer and journalist. She was a founder and contributor to Emeequis magazine and the online cultural radio station Código DF. She was awarded the Premio Coatlicue 2006 for her novel Sobrevivientes (Survivors). She has opened spaces for sex education in various media, such as TV Mexiquense and Radio UNAM. In 1996, she won the Premio Nacional de Periodismo from Club de Periodistas de México, A. C. She has worked as a teacher, a lecturer, and a media host. Verónica is co-author of Pleasures and Partners (2022).
