Abigaíl Arrevillaga is a Gestalt psychotherapist with training in thanatology, the Pathwork method, and body and systemic therapies. She did both a degree in Economics, and an MA in Science, with a specialisation in Educational Administration and Development at Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN). She got her PhD in Psychotherapy at Centro de Investigación y Entrenamiento en Psicoterapia Gestalt Fritz Perls, S.C. She is a specialist in Transgenerational Philosophy from the Bert Hellinger Institute and holds diplomas in Human Development, Facilitation of Group Processes, and Sign Language, as well as other Education-related courses. She worked as a full time professor and researcher at the IPN, and has taught at several other universities and institutions, both public and private. Abigaíl has also been the coordinator of Centro de Desarrollo Humano y Atención Psicológica Casa Sheetla in Mexico City. She has given speeches and taken part in congresses on education, emotional intelligence, and thanatology. Abigaíl is the author of El duelo por amor (2022), published by Editorial Terracota.
