José de Jesús González Núñez is a psychoanalyst and holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology. He has been an honorary president, a coordinator of the academic council, a supervisor, a didactic analyst, and a lecturer at Instituto de Investigación en Psicología Clínica y Social. He has taught for about 50 years now to undergraduate, master's and doctoral levels. He has earned recognition as a researcher in the field of psychoanalysis, but also as the creator the Circular Research Model. Dr González Núñez received an H.C. award from Claustro Doctoral Iberoamericano. He has given more than 450 speeches, both specialised and for the general public, on mental health, and has published more than 30 books, including Recuperando la capacidad de amar (2010), Análisis psicológico de los mitos, cuentos y sueños (2012), Técnica de la entrevista con adolescentes (2015), Los sueños y su interpretación psicoanalítica (2020) and Dinámica de grupos (2021).
