Sadak, Kalama

Kalama Sadak is the Buddhist name that Jorge García Montaño received from his teacher. He has a degree in Sociology and a Master’s in Economy, both from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). His doctoral studies were in Population Sciences at the Colegio de México. He studies Buddhism and practices mediation since the early 90s. He is the founder of the Kalamas Buddhist Academy, teaches workshops and courses, and organizes mediation retreats. He is one of the few Latin American writers with published books on Buddhist topics adapted to our culture and society.
