Hello my name is Olivia Holden and I’m a freelance illustrator from Lancashire, England. Since graduating in 2015 I have worked professionally with a variety of publishers across the globe. My process includes a mix of gouache, pencils and crayons to invite different textures and welcome an organic painterly naivety to my work. I enjoy visiting different cities to find new inspiration from the different buildings food and people I experience along the way. Most of my illustrations derive from everyday life and the world around me,although sometimes I get to travel to a world of my own imagination,like in this story here.
