Sue Palmer
Biography
Sue Palmer (S.Y. Palmer) writes adventure stories for 7-12 year olds, where ordinary children display extraordinary traits, as they search for answers and chase their dreams.
She is passionate about outdoor adventure and loves to throw her characters into perilous situations, such as collapsing cave tunnels, the unrelenting ocean or the vacuum of space.
Sue runs KS2 workshops for schools, libraries and bookshops on habitats, space and writing and can often be seen staring up at the stars or scrabbling around the shoreline for shells.
Sue is the author of the May's Moon series and The Shell Secret.
