Description

It’s time to go from feeling overwhelmed and exhausted every day to living your best life.

Katy Blommer’s The Working Mom Happiness Method: Your Guide to Creating Balance, Maintaining Healthy Habits, and Thriving in Your Career confronts head-on the fact that women from a young age are taught to put others first—and that their value is in looking attractive and serving others. On the other hand, men historically practice self-care without needing to call it that: They simply feel they have the right to take care of their own needs. This powerful, honest, and humorous book offers insightful social and psychological analysis along with practical tools to help working mothers reject the paradigm of self-sacrifice as self-worth. Katy speaks to her readers as a well-informed expert and a trusted friend.

Katy shares her Best Life Master Plan, which will radically transform readers’ relationships with themselves while offering lessons like the following:

  • Your value and worth have nothing to do with how you look or what you do for everyone in your life.
  • You must start to put yourself first in every area of your life, and this choice will revolutionize your relationships with others.
  • The more you value yourself, the more confident you will become, and the further you will progress in your career.

Above all, Katy teaches that all readers are worthy, not because of what they do but simply because they exist. We often forget that we all have innate value. In The Working Mom Happiness Method, Katy Blommer shows us it’s time to remember.

Awards & Endorsements

Endorsement

“I first thought The Working Mom Happiness Method wasn’t for me, since I don’t have young kids, but I’m so grateful I took it. I felt stuck in my career and undervalued, and the course helped me shift my mindset and value myself more. Once I did, I started seeing new opportunities and how I could contribute. I began the course in September and was promoted before year-end. The biggest factor was Katy’s book—it showed me I could invest in myself, understand what matters to me, and realize I am worth all the things.” —Debbie Tucker, manager of a large financial corporation and mom of 2 adult children

Endorsement
“Katy’s program and coaching provided me with the tools, courage, and confidence to take the leap from my comfort zone and land a senior executive role (without pressuring or over-preparing), which has led to my career advancing in all the ways I dreamed it could!” —Kelly Dolan Saverino, managing director of a large financial institution and mom of 3 young kids
Endorsement
“I was reflecting recently on how great I feel about myself and my life, even on low-energy days, and how I never expected to feel this good with everything going on. Before I had my first son, I felt like a high-performance race car, and after I had him, my engine stalled. I worried it would get worse after my second son, but it’s been the opposite. I’m happy, growing, and loving every part of my life because of The Working Mom Happiness Method. Thank you for creating such a beautiful program; I’m so grateful to be a WMHM alumni.” —Anna Krueger, firm operations manager of a law firm and mom of 2 young kids
