About The Book:
“In the wilderness of loss, the earth becomes a guide.”
Are you struggling with the death or loss of a loved one?
Do you feel frozen by that loss? Are you asking yourself questions you can’t answer, like, how do I move forward?
In “The Nature Codes: Healing Grief through Nature’s Energy & Reclaiming Joy”, Kellye Thunder Davis shares her grief journey after the consecutive loss of four cherished people, including her sweetheart and her mother.
After following a call to “go be in nature” from her meditation pillow, she embarked on a thirteen-day journey into the natural world through the Verde Valley desert and a Gulf Coast barrier island, where she would confront her stuck grief. The experience became the foundation for her book, “The Nature Codes: Healing Grief Through Nature’s Energy & Reclaiming Joy.”
Through the lens of yoga philosophy, mindfulness, Native American wisdom, and observations of nature’s energy, Davis shares her story in the hopes that it will serve as a guide for anyone on a grief journey—offering comfort, clarity, and the possibility of reclaiming joy.
