by Drew Lyons
The digital age may have shortened the human story to only 140 characters, with social media posts often only hitting the plot points, but Drew Lyons invites the reader to see more. Through a series of personal essaysabout childhood memories, friendships, and meeting new peopleDrew details more than just his plot points.
Whether it 's taking his dog to an emergency vet after a dog bite and interacting with unexpected celebrities, visiting an unknown uncle with his grandmother, meeting a cab driver whose story sticks long after he closes the door, or traveling with his best friend before his untimely death, Lyons navigates his life with humor, curiosity, and gratitude, reminding readers that the unforeseen can lurk around any corner.
. . . See More: A Collection of Personal Essays includes one short fictional piece as bonus material.
