Luz de Lourdes Eguiluz
Luz de Lourdes Eguiluz studied Psychology at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), a master’s degree in Family Therapy at Universidad de las Américas and a PhD in Psychological Research at Universidad Iberoamericana. She is a professor at UNAM’s Faculty of Psychology, where she was also the director. With 35 years of professional practice in Systemic Therapy, she created the masters’ degree in Systemic Family Therapy at both Universidad Autónoma de Tlaxcala and UNAM.
Her work includes important titles such as El baile de la pareja (2007), ¿Qué podemos hacer ante el suicidio?(2013), Entendiendo a la pareja (2014), Usos de la psicología positiva (2019), Terapia familiar sistemática(2021), Ante el suicidio (2023) and Dinámica de la familia (2022). Along with Carolina Santillán, she is the coordinator of Pensamiento suicida (2023), all published by Editorial Terracota.

Carolina Santillán
Carolina Santillán holds a BA, an MA, and a PhD in Psychology from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). She is an Academic Supervisor of the Crisis, Emergencies and Suicide Care strategy at Facultad de Estudios Superiores Iztacala-UNAM. She is also a Fulbright Scholar for doctoral thesis at the Centre for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety of the University of Pennsylvania. Carolina is a Professor at UNAM and a member of Sistema Nacional de Investigadores (SNI-I).
Along with Luz de Lourdes Eguiluz, Carolina is a coordinator of Pensamiento suicida (2023), published by Pax.
