Jay Wheeler

Jay Wheeler is an educator, media designer, and storyteller with more than thirty years of experience in teaching and multimedia production. A graduate of Northwestern University and the University of Idaho, Wheeler studied film, television, and radio and worked extensively in the New York–New Jersey metropolitan media industry.

Over the course of his career, he has produced and directed projects across multiple creative platforms, including film, television, radio, and musical theater. His work also includes educational program development and curriculum design.

The Witching Hour – Remember When… represents the culmination of a story idea Wheeler first conceived in the early 1970s. Over decades, the concept evolved from a poem into a screenplay, ballet concept, audio reenactment, and finally an illustrated storybook that combines music, storytelling, and visual imagination into a timeless supernatural tale.
