Biography
Ben Klotz is an economist, strategist, and writer whose career has focused on the intersection of policy, war, and society. He earned a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Minnesota while working at the RAND Corporation during the Vietnam War era. Later he taught economics at Temple University.
Klotz’s professional work examined military policy and the economic implications of national defense systems. His experience studying war planning and military institutions inspired his later writing.
