Lois Phillips, PhD, is an experienced keynote speaker, researcher, coach, and consultant who studies public speaking as a form of leadership, especially the different "masculine," "feminine," and "androgynous" delivery and linguistic styles. She has coached people in business, professions, government, and the non profit sector. Her media experience as an on-camera talk show host gives her insights into the importance of effective non verbal communication and complements her academic research. She has learned that the first step in organizing a presentation is not only knowing your audience but knowing yourself.

Anita Perez Ferguson

Anita Perez Ferguson is a two time winner of the SAN FRANCISCO WRITERS CONFERENCE YA Writers award. She delights students and teaches with her inspiring bilingual book discussions. She was named Featured Author for November 2022 by Books Shelf.com. Anita leads excellent sessions, Sharing Our Stories, in residential senior's facilities. Her fiction brings to life the voices of California inhabitants living 200 years ago. Her non-fiction promotes the voices of under-represented communities in the twenty-first century. This earned her the 2014 Lacayo Lifetime Achievement Award from the United States Hispanic Leadership Institute. She is an Advisor and Former Chair for the InterAmerican Foundation and a Visiting Lecturer for the Council for Independent Colleges. She enjoys living and writing on the Pacific coast.
