The Kaleidoscope World
Because they can’t stop negative thoughts, Randy and Manda are trapped in a whirlwind of negativity, tumbling down a Weird Kaleidoscope into a strange world. Desperate to get home, they go through whimsical, song-filled, action packed adventures, battling the very embodiment of negative thought—FEAR—represented by the despicable sociopath, Mr. Negative, whose intent is capturing Manda and dragging her to his sinister cave in the Morbid Mountains.
Along their journey, they visit many magical places and meet colorful—and sometimes mythical—characters, each of whom does something that stops positive thought. By helping each character, Randy and Manda discover clues to get home. Throughout their many narrow escapes with Mr. Negative, Trolls, the hideous Batosix, and even a shark attack, Manda gets “frozen” in her fear.
Upon reaching the funny, cantankerous Scary Mary McFairy’s cottage, they learn there is a door that leads back home near Queen Lisa of Light’s Castle. But they are foiled again because the path to the Castle is blocked. They need an ancient red scroll within Mr. Negative’s cave, and Manda must confront her deepest fear and retrieve a key dangling around Mr. Negative’s neck! One question looms above all: Will Randy and Manda unlock the secret powers of positive thought and find the strongest weapon of all enabling them to return home?
