Or, to be entirely accurate, it wrote itself with a very minor but crucial assistance from Jeff Chegwin – PR wizard, music industry legend, and brother of the late, unforgettable TV and radio personalities Keith Chegwin and Janice Long.

Jeff, for reasons still not entirely understood by the laws of common sense, decided that lending his considerable talents to a book that talks back was, in fact, a perfectly reasonable career choice. The book itself shares its innermost musings with an occasional sigh of exasperation. It catalogues a life of highs, lows, and the occasional existential wobble.
