Elba Flores Núñez has interviewed the great Gestaltists Jean-Marie Delacroix, Carmen Vázquez Bandín, Jean-Marie Robine, and Ruella Frank. In this book, the author shares the result of this interesting process based on these exchanges, personal notes, attendances to their courses and workshops, tireless reviews of their literature and, of course, personal experiences and interpretations. In each line, she manages to weave together the theoretical elaboration, psychotherapeutic practice and life experience of these renowned Gestalt practitioners. As a starting point, Flores Núñez assumes that both the choice and the practice of any type of psychotherapy have to do with personal experience, and she manages to condense relevant aspects of each of the specialists’ theories in order to get a theory of "flesh and blood", to paraphrase Robine.
