Yasmine Golchan

THE AUTHOR

Yasmine Golchan is a producer, director, and writer. Born in Belgium and raised between Paris and Los Angeles, she brings a cinematic imagination and a distinctly international perspective to children’s literature.

Her credits include The Painted Veil (starring Edward Norton and Naomi Watts) and the award-winning short film Next Stop, Eternity, selected at international festivals including Marrakech, Ghent, Paris, Hollywood, and Beverly Hills, and winner of the Stream Search Internet Film Festival. Her work has been featured in Variety, Deadline, and Kidscreen, and she collaborates with producer Bob Yari under a first-look deal at Magenta Light Studios.

Inspired by her own childhood adventures traveling the world, she created The Adventures of Yasmine in Hollywood, the first book in a series that will take Yasmine across the globe. She retains all rights through Pink Diamond Productions LLC.
