Biography

C.F. YETMEN is the author of the IPPY-award winning Anna Klein Trilogy, set in Germany at the end of World War II. She began her career working as an Editorial Assistant for Prestel Books in Munich, Germany and worked briefly as a freelance German translator and book researcher focusing on art history and architecture texts. An architectural writer, her non-fiction work has appeared in Texas Architect, Metropolis, Interiors Texas, Austin Home, and the Architect’s Newspaper. She is co-author (with Barbara White Bryson) of The Owner’s Dilemma, published in 2010.

Her fourth novel,The Pretense of Memory—a sequel to the Anna Klein Trilogy — will be published June 11, 2026. Canan lives in Austin, Texas.
