From Frankfurt to Mexico, we followed up with our many meetings and took a Thanksgiving break before Allison headed down to Guadalajara, MX for four fantastic publishing days during the 36th annual Guadalajara International Book Fair.

A return to FIL, the most important Spanish language book fair in the world, this year after several years away, was like spending time with a long lost friend.

From the electricity of the fair itself with its combo of business professionals, book buying public, students bused in from around Mexico for all the famous author presentations, the 9 am to 9 pm day was filled up from connecting our books with the right editors in the Spanish speaking world to chance encounters with new editors and new publishing partners to the fabulous hospitality of the vibrant Mexican publishing companies and their amazing soirees.

We’ve already started the countdown to the next FIL. ¡Viva México!
