News from FIL Guadalajara
Allison met with many Spanish language editors & publishers at this yearโs Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL), the most well-attended (907,300 visitors) in its 38-year history. In addition to the amazing weather and kindest hosts, FIL is a special mix of business-to-business during the day (over 18,000 publishing professionals), and the public in the evenings for numerous cultural events, live music and the gathering of friends and colleagues. It made for a primed atmosphere for licensing Spanish language rights to many of our titles. News of these deals to follow in our forthcoming chapter after the New Year.
