The Lion And The Gnat Illustrated By Tika and Tata
"Away with you, vile insect!" said a Lion angrily to a Gnat that was buzzing around his head. But the Gnat was not in the least disturbed.
"Do you think," he said spitefully to the Lion, "that I am afraid of you because they call you king?" The next instant he flew at the Lion and stung him sharply on the nose. Mad with rage, the Lion struck fiercely at the Gnat, but only succeeded in tearing himself with his claws.
Again and again the Gnat stung the Lion, who now was roaring terribly. At last, worn out with rage and covered with wounds that his own teeth and claws had made, the Lion gave up the fight.
The Wolf and the Lamb Illustrated by Belinda Drought
The lamb lost his way and happened to run into the hungry wolf. The wolf fabricated a lot of excuses in order to eat the lamb. Unexpectedly, the lamb refuted all the excuses the wolf made. In the end, the wolf lost his patience and gave up catching out the lamb with more lies, so he bundled the lamb up and carried him off the forest.
Mischievous Dog Illustrated by Veronika Kotyk
The story is about an old lady and her mischievous dog. The dog always made trouble so people were growing apart from her and the dog. The old lady was smart. She knitted a small muzzle to cover the dogβs mouth. This story tells us that a bad temper is not worth bragging about, not to mention that it can bring you no benefits.
