A Tale of Two Agents: Chapter Fourteen Between the Fairs

We’ve arrived back from the Fairs like the start of Spring - blossoming with new ideas, and eager to see life in full colour again, surrounded by cherry blossoms, magnolia trees and the sun making guest appearances.

It felt like a 60% attendance rate at Bologna, and London at least 75%, the Italians considerably more masked up than those at LBF. Those who were able to participate joyfully networked and brokered deals in person once again.  

 

Soft Opening is an unconventional story about Walter the chunky wombat who wakes up with a rumbling tummy in a strange world where it seems absolutely ordinary that animals wear fancy designer clothes and drive Italian mopeds...

 

We’re also working on finalizing several traditional, hybrid and individual author representation agreements as a result of face-to-face meetings, more valuable now than ever.
