Biography
Victor Acquista, M.D., is an American contemplative author, international speaker, and founder of Vox Veritas Vita Press, an independent publisher devoted to contemplative, conscious, and thought-provoking literature. Guided by the mission, Writing to Raise Consciousness, his work explores the intersections of contemplative spirituality, medicine, and the unfolding of human potential, inviting readers into deeper presence, authenticity, and compassionate engagement with themselves, others, and the world.
A retired physician and former Chief Medical Officer, Victor now devotes his writing to questions of transformation, healing, and human flourishing. His award-winning nonfiction title, Feed Your Hungry Soul: Awaken Your Loving Heart, received a Silver Nautilus Book Award and was recognized by the Eric Hoffer Book Awards as a Grand Prize Finalist and Spirituality Honorable Mention. His fiction has likewise earned international recognition, including International Book Awards for Serpent Rising and Revelation. Earlier works have been translated into Danish and German, reflecting the cross-cultural resonance of his writing.
Beyond his eight books, short stories, and articles, Victor has presented internationally, delivered keynote addresses and workshops, and participated in interdisciplinary conversations that bridge literature, contemplative practice, medicine, and consciousness studies.
