Upon graduating in painting from Portugal's Fine Arts School of Porto University, Sebastiao never thought of managing to publish his works in the media. Today, with over 20 children's titles to his credit, domestic and foreign outlets avidly seek his collaboration. His book Quando Eu for Grande or When I Grow Up was awarded by the Portuguese Authors Society in 2012.
