Biography

Kirsten Janz, BA, is a registered holistic nutritionist, certified functional nutrition practitioner, author, and founder of Whole Body Health and Wellness. With over fifteen years of clinical experience, she has helped clients across North America navigate complex digestive issues, with a focus on small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), food sensitivities, and chronic illness. A proud Métis woman and founder of a successful wellness center, Kirsten brings a unique blend of science, intuition, and lived experience to her work: empowering clients to make informed choices about their nutrition and overall well-being.

Her book, SIBO Uncovered: Exploring the Hidden Epidemic Behind Your IBS Symptoms, draws on her personal healing journey and professional expertise to demystify the true prevalence, contributing factors, testing methods, and care options for SIBO—now understood to play a significant role in many IBS cases.

Beyond her clinical practice, Kirsten mentors emerging nutritionists, writes educational content, and speaks on topics ranging from gut health to holistic recovery. She believes that true wellness comes from understanding the body’s interconnected systems and supporting each person’s path to healing with compassion and clarity.
