Biography

Born in Poland, Dr. Rogers moved with her family to Germany and Israel during her formative years. She attended international schools in Israel and Germany before emigrating to the United States at the age of 18. There, she completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and settled in California where she worked for the next 32 years.

Throughout her career, she worked with children and families. Later in her career, she advocated for the autism community through the Grandparent Autism Network. Dr. Rogers leads weekly drop-in support group for children, parents, and adults on the autism spectrum.

Now, Dr. Rogers focuses on authoring books and articles about mental health, offering her expertise to a broader audience. She is passionate about helping parents understand what drives their children’s actions, arming them with time-tested methods to manage difficult situations, and making mental health and family harmony accessible to people who cannot access therapy when things go wrong.

At present, she lives in Austin, Texas to be near her daughter's family. She writes, promotes her book, and leads a monthly drop-in support group for children, parents, and adults on the autism spectrum.
