Description

Are you a teacher, administrator, or behavior analyst frustrated by the impact of misbehavior on morale and student achievement? You're not alone, and this book is here to help. In most schools, behavior management training is sparse, yet disruptive behaviors are among the top reasons educators consider leaving the profession. Relying on trial and error isn't fair to you—or your students. Drawing on many decades of hands-on experience, the authors provide a straightforward, practical framework that strengthens behavior management across classrooms and schools.

This second edition expands on the original's systematic approach, offering new strategies and an updated appendix packed with tools and procedures for responding to and preventing behavioral challenges. From reducing school-wide tardiness to helping students, faculty, and staff overcome internal obstacles to achieve valued results, the book breaks down the elements of an effective behavior response system, emphasizing the essential roles of both classroom and school leaders.

If misbehavior is disrupting your school's climate and culture, it's time for a proven approach that empowers educators, enhances student behavior, and builds a positive learning environment. Don't wait—this is the toolbox you've been searching for.
