God’s Big Crayon Box
We are all so much more alike than we are different!
What if the whole world began with one enormous box of crayons?
Using every color in His box, God fills creation with bright skies, changing seasons, sparkling oceans, remarkable animals—and people unlike anyone else. Some are tall, some are short. They have different skin tones, eyes, hair, languages, and homes. Yet every person is created with love, and every difference belongs in God’s beautiful design.
With its playful crayon-box metaphor and vibrant illustrations, God’s Big Crayon Box introduces young children to diversity, belonging, and the joy of being uniquely themselves. As readers travel through the colorful wonders of creation, they discover a reassuring truth: although we may look or sound different, we are all equally precious—and much more alike than we are different.
Warm, accessible, and faith-filled, this picture book offers families, churches, and classrooms a gentle starting point for conversations about acceptance. An interactive closing invitation encourages every child to celebrate the special way God created them.
