Sun Yimeng

Sun Yimeng, a young illustrator based in France. She graduated from the China Academy of Art and later pursued studies in France, graduating from the Paris Higher School of Applied Arts. Living in Paris, she dedicates herself to expressing her passion for art and life through illustrations, fervently capturing daily snippets and moments of brilliance during her travels. Proficient in capturing the tiny yet beautiful details of life, she infuses vigor and energy into mundane routines.

Her works are imbued with the romantic ambiance of French style, cleverly intertwining delicate expressions with playful elements. As an illustrator, she has contributed illustrations to publications like "Le Monde", "Figaroscope", "Hao", "MilK", "No.9", among others. Additionally, she has collaborated with numerous well-known domestic and international brands, including Le Bon Marché, Joy City, Nongfu Spring, Citroën, Nissan, Shanghai Selection, MARNI, GENTSPACE, Hotel ANDI, AthleticGreens, and more.

Sun Yimeng's works have been exhibited multiple times in China and France: she participated in the 2017 Paris Contemporary Asian Art Festival exhibition "HEAT"; held a dual exhibition "AILLEURS" in 2018; had a solo exhibition "Marché Grenelle" in Shanghai in 2019; took part in the China-Europe Illustration Joint Exhibition in 2020, with her work "la vie" receiving the Outstanding Award at the hiiiillustration International Illustration Competition the same year; participated in "What Are We Discussing When We Discuss Illustration" exhibition in 2021; held a solo exhibition "A la piscine" in Paris in 2022, while also creating illustrations for the African International Water Exhibition and hosting an exhibition "A Day in Paris" in Wuhan; and showcased "Going to the Swimming Pool" at the Nine-Zhi Youth Art Festival in 2023.

In 2020, she published the children's book "Going to the Museum", followed by her personal illustrated book "Everyday in Paris" in 2022, and in 2023, she published "Paris centuried Shops".
