Gard, Kimberlee

Kimberlee Gard was a reluctant reader as a child and struggled with a learning disorder through her elementary years. Reading was a dreaded chore until she found one great book that changed everything. From this came her aspiration to write books for children that would bring about the same love of reading she once found. She was further inspired watching her own child battle dyslexia and works to create stories that share educational concepts in fresh and unique ways to engage even the most struggling and discouraged reader. Kimberlee lives in Colorado with her husband and four sons. - Sandie is an illustrator living in Rancho Cucamonga, California. She graduated with a BA in Studio Art from Cal State University Fullerton in 2010. Wearer of many hats, Sandie is a freelance illustrator, wife, and mom to two inspirational souls. When she is not drawing you can find her playing legos with her kids or sipping coffee with her husband. -
