Introductory Story Outline:

Queeny Squash wears bother boots.
When she bolts, others scoot.
She pounds the ground without a break until the palace rocks and shakes.
Follow STORY 2 and gaze as Queeny stumbles round a maze.
A sign spells out, 'COLLECT A PASS'.
She may swing left or spring right past.

Introductory Story Opening:

The hidden land of Seldom See has a queen and king.

Royal Flitlit Queeny Squash rules the land along with Kingy Bling.

They have a lively toddler titled Princess Peachy.

The busy princess thumps loud drums.

She also hoots a blaring horn and copies all things screechy.

Potty Palace is their home. It sits inside the Royal zone.

The Royal zone, based at Plum Plot, is home to such a comic lot.

Eiry Rees Thomas grew up among a creative family embracing a poet, calligrapher/sculptor, illustrators, and a cartoonist.

Her love of writing bilingually followed a career as a public health practitioner, peripatetic teacher, and medical translator.

Her experiences in the field of child development and the privilege of having worked with children and families with additional needs contribute to her work as an author and curriculum content creator.

Eiry is a passionate literacy advocate who believes in encouraging children to read through engaging, humorous literature, adapted for different formats that reach young readers, whatever their needs. Her works, that have been piloted extensively, have won multiple awards in the UK, US and beyond. Working with her target audience: the children, and their educators and caregivers has, and continues to be a delight.
