Mariah Avery

Mariah began her professional career as a classical musician. When Mariah’s son was diagnosed with autism, she put her French horn career on the shelf to learn how to better help him. When many people told her what her son’s limitations would be, Mariah knew that with the right professional care, he could achieve much more. Helping her son learn to speak and adapt to his environment inspired Mariah to help others. She completed her MA in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University in 2017 and went on to become a BCBA, completing her field experience at Marcus Autism Center. Her passion for care has led her to a variety of settings like home care, clinics, and schools in Florida and Georgia.
