Guy Romeo

Australian author Guy Romeo created Wilfred the Camel from a lifelong ambition to write children’s stories with memorable characters and positive messages. Of Italian heritage, Romeo hopes his stories encourage children to embrace differences, remain kind and recognise that the qualities that make someone unusual can also make them special. His first Wilfred adventure, Wilfred and the Great Desert Storm, introduced the cheerful camel whose distinctive sharp teeth ultimately become his strength.

For Wilfred and the Scorpion That Lost His Way Home, Romeo is joined by co-author Shaz. Together they continue Wilfred’s adventures with a warm story celebrating friendship, courage, cooperation and helping others find their way home. The book is the second title in the Wilfred series.
